Dave Mustaine Reveals His Favorite Megadeth Album(s)

What’s Dave Mustaine’s favorite Megadeth album? It’s hard to decide, apparently.

Loudwire posed the question in a recent interview with Mustaine. His response? Either 1990’s Rust in Peace or 2016’s Dystopia. 

Rust In Peace is, of course, an all-time heavy metal classic. But 2016’s Dystopia would land Mustaine his first-ever Grammy award.

Meanwhile, Megadeth is getting ready to release their 16th studio album, The Sick, the Dying… and the Dead! on July 8th.

What’s your favorite Megadeth album?  Should we be surprised when artists lean towards their most recent work, even if it doesn’t get the same critical acclaim as the early material?
