Superfans Take Love Of Eddie Van Halen On The Road

The Bay Area’s own Marisol Richardson and Stephen Richardson, Music Press Junkie, have decked out an old van into the “Vanama” as a tribute to the guitar legend. It’s a 1969 Ford Econoline painted red, black, and white to look just like the pattern on Eddie’s signature Frankenstrat guitar. They started the van’s transformation shortly after EVH died in 2020. Now, the interior features all kinds of Van Halen memorabilia.

The “Vanama” travels around California and has become so popular when people spot it – they even have their own line of merch, including hats and t-shirts with the “Vanama” logo.

Do you consider yourself a superfan of any band/musician?
