‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Takes Off In San Diego

Do you feel the need … the need for speed (again)?

The long-awaited sequel, Top Gun: Maverick, premiered in San Diego Wednesday on the deck of the USS Midway.

Stars from the film, including Tom Cruise, Jennifer Connelly, and Jon Hamm, were there along with 500 lucky fans to see the new movie.

Shooting for the movie started back in 2018 with a release date set for 2019.

But, then everything was delayed because of Covid.

So, now … finally …. the movie will be in theaters later this month on May 27.

The first Top Gun came out in 1986.
