My Chemical Romance Release First New Song In Eight Years

My Chemical Romance just surprised fans with their first new song in nearly a decade.

The band dropped the six-minute track “The Foundations Of Decay” on Thursday, with zero prior announcement.

It’s the first new MCR song since “Fake Your Death”, from the band’s 2014 greatest hits collection.

My Chemical Romance will kick off their long-awaited reunion tour next week in the UK and Europe, followed by a North American tour in late summer and fall.

What do you think of “The Foundations of Decay”?  Why do you think they decided to surprise fans?
