Original AC/DC Frontman To Release New Single

While most casual AC/DC listeners believe the late Bon Scott was the band’s original vocalist, there was actually one who preceded him: Dave Evans. And now Evans is back.

The singer has announced the upcoming release of a new single, “Guitarman,” which he recorded last fall with former Metallica producer Flemming Rasmussen. It’s unclear why it’s taken so long to schedule a release date.

Evans fronted AC/DC on the band’s first two singles, “Can I Sit Next To You Girl” and “Baby, Please Don’t Go,” before parting ways with his bandmates in 1974. His new single is due next month.

Which of AC/DC’s three vocalists was the best singer?
