Now Led Zeppelin is definitely one of those bands that you should just grow up knowing, especially if you were born after 1980. Apparently though, on the set of Austin Powers in Goldmember, it was proven that even though at the time Beyonce’, who was about twenty years old at the time, did not know who the band was.

In a video for Vanity Fair, promoting his new project The Pentaverate on Netflix,  Mike Meyers who was breaking down his multiple famous characters recalled the moment when he passed down the knowledge of the legendary band to his co-star:

“Beyoncé was a dream. She was the loveliest person in the world and just knocked it out of the park,” recalls Myers. “She would always listen to music and she said to me, ‘Mike, what are you listening to right now?’ And I said, “Oh, I’m just listening to Led Zeppelin at the moment.’ And she said, ‘I think I’ll listen to that Led Zeppelin.’ She had never heard of it. She was so young, and the crew was all, ‘Awww!’”
