Megadeth Re-Hires Former Bass Player

Megadeth has a new bass player. Well, an old bass player, actually.

James LoMenzo, who played with the band in the mid-2000s and recently helped out on tour, has officially rejoined Megadeth as the replacement for David Ellefson. Oddly enough, LoMenzo was fired from the group in 2010 when the band decided to bring Ellefson back into the fold.

“I’m so excited to rejoin Megadeth and move forward full steam into the next phase of this iconic band’s history,” LoMenzo says. “There’s no stopping us! It just feels great to be home again.”

Is there an audible difference between the LoMenzo version of Megadeth and the Ellefson version?
