Metallica Gets Surge From ‘Stranger Things’

Stranger Things fans are giving Metallica a major bump in streaming numbers after the band’s music was featured in the new season of the show.

The season 4 finale features the band’s 1986 track “Master Of Puppets” and the tune has now entered into the global top 50 on Spotify. 

The track has gotten over a million new Spotify streams per day since being featured in the finale and is in the global top 5 on Shazam.

Kate Bush also got a bump and scored a number one hit after being featured in the show.
