Avenged Sevenfold is teaming up with The Sandbox to create a brand-new virtual gaming world called the City of Evil.

The metaverse will be used as a social hub for fans to get information and socialize. The platform’s name comes from Avenged Sevenfold’s third studio album, “City of Evil.”

The band is also teasing an upcoming album.

Frontman M. Shadows tweeted, “As many of you know, we are currently finishing up our eighth studio album. We expect to be firing on all cylinders once that is ready to be released, and this social hub will play a major role in gathering info and socializing with other fans. For the ones who have been patient, thank you.”
