Rob Zombie’s feature film adaptation of The Munsters finally has a release date.

The reboot is set to premiere September 27th on Netflix, the streaming service has announced. The flick will also be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD the same day — complete with more than 100 hours of extra footage, Netflix reveals.

Although it’s been labeled a reboot, the film appears to serve as a prequel to the 1960s TV series, focusing on Herman Munster’s attempts to woo Lily. It’s expected to feature cameos by Butch Patrick and Pat Priest, who played Eddie and Marilyn on the original show.
