Wolfgang Van Halen Squeezes In Van Halen Tribute During Taylor Hawkins Concert

Wolfgang Van Halen managed to squeeze in a tribute to his father during Saturday’s Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley Stadium.

Wolfgang covered the Van Halen classics “On Fire” and “Hot For Teacher” alongside a makeshift band featuring Dave Grohl on bass, Josh Freese on drums, and The Darkness frontman Justin Hawkins doing his best David Lee Roth impression.

The highlight was a shredding fingertap solo from Wolfgang – one that left Grohl slack-jawed on stage.

The performance even impressed Wolfgang’s mother, Valerie Bertinelli, who tweeted “WOLFIE KILLED IT – So proud of you.”
