It’s not looking good.
Kyle Shanahan said that Trey Lance will require surgery on his broken ankle on Monday morning and will be out for the year during the 49ers’ postgame presser.
“He’s doing as good as he can, I’m hurting for him,” Shanahan said about Lance.

“Anytime a guy gets hurt I wish I didn’t call that,” Shanahan said about running Lance up the middle. “But no, that’s something we were going to do and something we were going to continue to do.”
