Green Day Teases Nimrod’s 25th Anniversary this Friday

Green Day’s iconic 1997 album Nimrod turns 25 on Friday, October 14th.

Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool released their fifth studio album Nimrod which includes the beloved songs “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)” and “Hitchin’ A Ride” nearly 25 years ago and the band seems to be preparing for special celebrations on the big day.

“Someone’s got a VERY big birthday on Friday… any guesses who??!” The band wrote on twitter. “Some special Nimrod anniversary news coming for you on Friday. Be there or be square.”
