Eddie Vedder Covers The Cure’s ‘Just Like Heaven’

Eddie Vedder concluded a brief tour with a special twist – a cover of The Cure‘s ‘Just Like Heaven’.

Last Friday night, the Pearl Jam frontman performed at the Dolby Live in Las Vegas with his band The Earthlings.

While performing, Vedder shared insight on his life during lockdown. He explained that he and his family would host dance parties during the coronavirus pandemic and one of the songs on the playlist was ‘Just Like Heaven’.

“Some good things came out of Covid, my wife and I started having these pretty wild dance parties in our garage. I will always have great memories of those incredible dance parties,” he said. “The kids would come in and check on us and kind of get embarrassed and have to leave, but we had a fuckin’ blast. This is one of the ones that we would play.

“We’ve never played it before — we only played it about an hour ago right before we came out, but we’re gonna try it now.”
