Pink Floyd Artists Says ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ 50th Anniversary Celebration Planned


Pink Floyd is planning some big things for the 50th anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon – though you didn’t hear it from any actual band members.

Aubrey ‘Po’ Powell, who designed a number of Floyd album covers including Dark Side, says some mystery projects are in the works: “We’re planning to do a lot of things, is all I can say.”

Released in 1973, Dark Side Of The Moon is considered by many to be the band’s peak, selling over 15 million copies and spending a decade and a half on the Billboard Top 200.
