The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame welcomed its 2022 class with an amazing ceremony filled with great performances. Dolly Parton, Eminem, Pat Benatar, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, and more were inducted as part of the 2022 class during Saturday’s ceremony.

The induction ceremony is all about surprise performances – and it doesn’t get more surprising than Judas Priest’s Rob Halford singing alongside Dolly Parton.

Halford was part of a star-studded lineup that sang Parton’s signature hit “Jolene” – along with fellow inductees Annie Lennox, Pat Benatar, and Simon Le Bon.

Parton was backed by Zac Brown Band and also joined on stage by Pink and Brandi Carlile.

Dolly also performed a brand new song titled “Rockin'” – and promised to record a rock album in the near future.

Dolly said, “I still got rock and roll down in my country soul.”

Sherly Crow said about Pat Benatar, “Pat rocked as hard as any man but still maintained her identity as a woman.”

During Eminem’s acceptance speech he said, “I’m not supposed to be here tonight. One, I’m a rapper; two, I almost died from an overdose; and three, I really had to fight my way through … I’m a high school dropout with a hip hop education.”

Janet Jackson was also present during the ceremony and awarded Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis with the Musical Excellence Award.
