Black Sabbath Inspires Comic Cover

The worlds of rock and comics are colliding once again.

A new mystery comic series, called Black Tape, is centered in the world of hard rock and uses artwork inspired by the genre’s biggest names.

The first issue has Black Sabbath-inspired artwork and follows the tale of rock idol Jack King, who dies onstage at a sold-out show under mysterious circumstances.

Black Tape Issue No. 1 will be available on February 1, both digitally and in stores.

Future issues will feature rock inspired cover variants with nods to AC/DC, Motorhead and Motley Crue.
