Corona, Modelo Beers Getting More Expensive

That ice-cold bottle of Corona is about to get more expensive.

Grupo Modelo, maker of beer brands like Corona, Modelo, and Pacifico, raised its prices this week due to inflation and shipping costs.

The Mexico City-based brewer did not reveal its new prices in Monday’s announcement.

Inflation in Mexico has been running slightly ahead of the U.S. at roughly 8.5%.
