Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin‘s ‘Hanukkah Sessions’ are back.
The pair kicked off the eight nights of covers with ‘Spinning Wheel’ by Blood, Sweat & Tears, featuring comedian and director Judd Apatow on vocals.
The video’s description reads, “A little blood and plenty of schvitz went into this year’s Hanukkah Sessions — but the only tears you’ll be shedding will be tears of nachas when you hear Judd Apatow sing ‘Spinning Wheel’ by Blood, Sweat & (No) Tears!”
The rendition was recorded earlier this month during a secret show in Los Angeles, where Grohl and Kurstin performed nine songs in front of a live audience.
The show was hosted by Apatow, who also jumped on the mic to help the pair out for their covers series.
“This is a song that means a lot to me, it was performed by the great Hank Kingsley on The Larry Sanders Show. This is a tribute to Garry and to Hank,” Apatow said prior to his performance.
