Dave Grohl and His Daughter Cover Janis Ian’s ‘At Seventeen’

Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin‘s 2022 ‘Hannukah Sessions’ continue to amaze listeners.

Yesterday, the pair welcome Grohl’s daughter Violet for a cover of Janis Ian’s ‘At Seventeen.’

For the fourth entry of this year, Violet Grohl sings the tune.

Dave Grohl and Greg Kurstin‘s kicked off the ‘Hanukkah Sessions’ with ‘Spinning Wheel’ by Blood, Sweat & Tears, featuring comedian and director Judd Apatow on vocals.

The eight nights of covers continued as the pair brought out P!nk for a rendition of “Get the Party Started.” Comedian Jack Black even joined in for one of the final choruses of the song!

This year’s ‘Hannukah Sessions’ were recorded during a secret show in Los Angeles earlier this month, where Grohl and Kurstin performed nine songs in front of a live audience. Proceeds from the show go toward the Anti-Defamation League.
