Ever wonder how Kings of Leon got their name? Turns out, it’s a family affair.
It makes sense – after all, Kings of Leon is a literal band of brothers, with siblings Caleb, Nathan, and Jared Followill along with their cousin Matthew.
That family connection is embedded in the band’s name – ‘Leon’ is the name of their grandfather, a ‘unifying force’ in the family who died in 2014.
