Steve Vai On His Friendship With Joe Satriani

Steve Vai recently reflected on his friendship with his longtime friend, former teacher, and fellow guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani.

He opened up in a recent interview with LifeMinute: “I can’t even fathom what my life would be like without him….we’re so fortunate that all through these years we’ve been joined at the hips.”

Vai began taking lessons from Satriani at age 12. The duo would go on to found the longrunning G3 concert tour.
