Rockers We’ve Lost in 2023

2023 has barely begun, but we have already lost some big names in music this year.

These include David Crosby, Lisa Marie Presley, Jeff Beck, and Robbie Bachman of Bachman-Turner Overdrive.

“She was the most passionate strong and loving woman I have ever known,” Priscilla Presley said in a statement.

“Although he is no longer here with us, his humanity and kind soul will continue to guide and inspire us.” Crosby’s wife, Jan, explained, “His legacy will continue to live on through his legendary music. Peace, love, and harmony to all who knew David and those he touched.”

Beck, who won eight Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, “Peacefully passed away” after “Suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis”.

Robbie passed shortly after Beck. Randy Bachman described his passing as, “Maybe Jeff Beck needs a drummer! “

Others we lost this year were behind the scenes, such as rock video actress Tatjana Patitz and visual artists Justin Bartlett, a.k.a. VBERKVLT.
