Journey Leaves Drama Behind At Tour Opener

After months of public bickering and filing lawsuits against each other, the members of Journey on Friday appeared to be part of a happy family at the opening show of their 50th anniversary tour.

Guitarist Neil Schon and keyboardist Jonathan Cain, whose battles over financial issues led to Schon attempting to replace Cain with original member Greg Rolie, showed no signs of strife at the Choctaw Casino and Resort in Oklahoma. At one point during the show, Cain told the audience, “It’s good to be back, all together again.”

After playing one more show in Oklahoma on Saturday, Journey brings its 50th anniversary tour to Allentown, Pennsylvania on February 4th.
