The long-running feud between Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour and Roger Waters heated up again this week.

It started when Gilmour’s wife, Polly Samson, accused Waters of being “antisemitic” and “a Putin apologist” – not to mention “a lying, thieving, hypocritical, tax-avoiding, lip-synching, misogynistic, sick-with-envy, megalomaniac.”

Gilmour backed up his wife’s claims, tweeting, “Every word demonstrably true.”

The comments seem to be in response to a Waters interview published in a German newspaper, claiming that the ‘Israeli Lobby’ is trying to cancel his concerts in Germany.

Waters responded to Samson’s claims on social media: “Roger Waters is aware of the incendiary and wildly inaccurate comments made about him on Twitter by Polly Samson which he refutes entirely. He is currently taking advice as to his position.”
