Metallica ‘Can’t Believe’ They Weren’t in the Super Bowl Halftime Show

Metallica are bummed out they weren’t part of Rihanna’s Super Bowl halftime show.

In honor of Rihanna’s big moment, the band tweeted out a video of their Carpool Karaoke segment, where they belted out Rihanna’s “Diamonds” with host Billy Eichner.

They wrote “We can’t believe @Rihanna didn’t ask us to be her backup singers”.

However, Metallica did get their Super Bowl moment – their single “Lux Aeterna” was used in Fox’s promo for the Daytona 500.
