Corey Taylor is getting ready for the release of his new solo album.
In a new interview, the rocker teased “CMF2,” which serves as the follow-up to his 2020 album, “CFMT.”
Taylor said the project is “going to be the best rock album of this year, and the next.”
He explained, “It chews up that first record and spits it out. It’s more dialed-in with everything people expect from me, so it’s got hints of ‘CMFT’ but there are also hints of Slipknot, Stone Sour and all the stuff I’ve done in my acoustic shows. It’s got everything for everybody. People are going to f**king lose it.”
No release date for the album has been announced. Taylor will launch a short solo tour in May.
