Travis Barker is updating fans on his injured finger.
The Blink-182 drummer posted a photo of himself post-surgery and also shared a photo of his finger mid-procedure. Barker called the surgery a “success,” and he said he’ll be back behind the kit to continue playing drums soon.
“Thank you for all the love and prayers and understanding this week as I went into surgery. It was a hard decision to make but ultimately, I couldn’t continue to play the drums without it.” Barker explained, “It was inevitable that my finger would have dislocated again without fixing the torn ligament surgically. So grateful for Dr. Shin and that my surgery was a success so that I can keep doing what I love and see you guys on tour soon.”
The first leg of the reunion tour was set to run from March 11th through April 2nd with a series of shows in Mexico and South America. Those shows have now been postponed, the band has announced.
