After a long wait, we finally have new music from Avenged Sevenfold!
The band released its new single, “Nobody,” on Tuesday. The band’s “Official stop-motion video for ‘Nobody’ [was] directed by Chris Hopewell. Stop motion is a handmade labor of love, often taking 90 minutes just to capture only 2 seconds of footage.”
The band also announced that its next album “Life is But a Dream…” will be released on June 2.
“The new album was written and recorded over the span of four years, and inspired by the writing and philosophy of Albert Camus.” Avenged Sevenfold explains, “Our good friend and brilliant artist, Wes Lang, encapsulated our theme of existentialism through visual art for the album packaging.”
This marks the first new music from Avenged Sevenfold since 2016’s “The Stage.”
The band also said it would play New York and Los Angeles shows this summer. Get more information and listen to “Nobody” here!
Avenged Sevenfold was announced as one of the headliners for Aftershock on Tuesday morning. The festival will take place at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California, from October 5th to 8th 2023.
