Black Sabbath’s self-titled anthem “Black Sabbath” has been named the greatest heavy metal tune ever by Rolling Stone.

The song took the #1 spot in the magazine’s updated ‘100 Greatest Heavy Metal Songs Of All Time’ list – describing it as “the feeling all metal bands have been chasing ever since”.

Rounding out the top five: Metallica’s, “Master of Puppets”, Motörhead’s, “Ace of Spades”, Judas Priest’s, “Breaking The Law”, and Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs”.
