Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler Approves of T-Pain’s ‘War Pigs’ Cover

Rapper T-Pain released his album of covers titled last week and has gotten the approval of a metal legend.

T-Pain covered Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs” in the album “On Top of The Covers” and the band’s bassist Geezer Butler seems to enjoy it.

Butler shared a post about the cover on Twitter and wrote the caption, “Check out @tpain ‘s great version of #warpigs”.

Okay, so Butler is a man of few words, but that seems to say enough as far as an endorsement!

T-Pain’s also covers San Francisco’s own Journey with his own rendition of “Don’t Stop Believin'”.

“On Top of The Covers” complete tracklist:

1. “A Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke
2. “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey
3. “Sharing The Night Together” by Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show
4. “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith
5. “Tennessee Whiskey” by David Alan Coe
6. “That’s Life” feat. NandoSTL by Frank Sinatra
7. “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath
