Metallica to Release Videos for New Album in Sign Language

Metallica isn’t just for people who can hear anymore.

The band has announced plans to release a video featuring sign language for each song on their new album, 72 Seasons. The move makes Metallica the first rock band to release an entire album’s worth of material in American Sign Language.

“We hope that our fans in the deaf and hard of hearing community enjoy experiencing the album through these videos,” reads a statement from Metallica.

The video for the title track, “72 Seasons,” has already been released. The other 11 ASL videos are due to drop on April 25th, according to Metallica.
