Eric Clapton Shares ‘Moon River’ Duet Recorded With Jeff Beck

Eric Clapton has shared a new track featuring the late, great Jeff Beck.

The cover of “Moon River” was recorded shortly before Beck’s death in January.

It will be released as a ‘double A-side’ vinyl single with the song “How Could We Know” on July 14th.

Later this month, Clapton will host two star-studded Jeff Beck tribute concerts at Royal Albert Hall in London.

“A Tribute to Jeff Beck by Eric Clapton & Friends,” will feature special guests Ronnie Wood, Joe Perry, Rod Stewart, ZZ Top’s Billy F. Gibbons and more.

Beck died in January at the age of 78 after battling bacterial meningitis. In a social media post, his family announced, “It is with deep and profound sadness that we share the news of Jeff Beck’s passing. After suddenly contracting bacterial meningitis, he peacefully passed away yesterday. His family ask for privacy while they process this tremendous loss.”
