Guitar goddess Nita Strauss is getting ready to release her second solo album, “The Call Of The Void”.

On Friday, she shared the single “The Golden Trail“, which features In Flames singer Anders Friden.

Strauss says Frieden is one of her musical heroes: “As a kid who grew up with In Flames posters on my walls, is an absolute dream come true.”

“The Call Of The Void” will be out July 7th.

Strauss recently re-joined Alice Cooper’s band after briefly leaving to tour with pop star Demi Lovato. Cooper guest-stars on her previous single, “Winner Takes All“.

“She’s Back!” Cooper announced in a press release. “Nita asked for a leave of absence to work with someone else, something I always encourage my band members to do. I like them to challenge themselves and try new things. I’m thankful to my old friend Kane Roberts for stepping up and filling in for her, but she’ll be back with us for the new tour that starts up in late April. It’s going to be great to have her back.”
