Sting knows a thing or two about reuniting the band after a breakup – and he thinks other bands should heed his advice.
That advice? Get back together, but only once – “You should do it once and the timing should be right.”
He says the Police reunion in 2007-2008 worked because “it had been long enough and it was the right time to do it.”
Don’t expect another reunion, though: “Doing it again would just be gratuitous and that won’t happen”.
