Neil Young is coming to a theater near you! The legendary rocker is launching a West Coast acoustic tour in July.

Dates and venues were announced on Friday, June 9th. Young is said to focus on theaters and songs never played live for the tour.

As for which songs, Young told Rolling Stone, “They’re not new songs. They’re old songs. But I wake up with them in my head every morning. They are songs that apply to my life right now and apply to everyone’s lives in this era that we’re in. Some of them were written 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago but never really played live.”

Neil Young last toured in 2019.

The tour includes stops in Santa Barbara, Paso Robles and San Diego, and a pair of Bay Area dates. Young will perform at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, California on July 15th and Oxbow RiverStage in Napa, California on July 23rd.
