Alice Cooper is bringing his touring band into the studio for his latest album, “Road.”
The shock-rock legend teamed up with his touring band – including Ryan Roxie, Chuck Garric, Tommy Henrikson, and Glen Sobel, and Nita Strauss, who returned to the group earlier this year after a brief stint with Demi Lovato, – to write and record all the songs.
“For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs,” said Cooper in a press release. “I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”
The album includes a bonus DVD/Blu-Ray featuring Cooper’s full set from the Hellfest 2022.
The lead single, “I’m Alice”, was released on Wednesday. “Road” will be out on August 25th.
