
The Rolling Stones are re-releasing their career-spanning compilation album “Forty Licks.”
The collection was first released in 2002 ahead of the band’s massive 14-month 40th anniversary tour.
The set will be released to digital platforms for the first time ever on July 26th, with a limited-run vinyl box set edition releasing July 28th.
“Forty Licks was a huge commercial success selling over 7 million copies round the world,” a press release stated. “Widely regarded as their definitive career-spanning best of compilation Forty Licks is released on limited 4 x 180g black vinyl housed in a wide spined gatefold sleeve. Also available on digital and in Dolby Atmos, with three tracks new to streaming.”
