Metallica has given fans another look at what to expect from their upcoming live concert event.
The band released a new trailer for “Metallica: M72 World Tour Live From Arlington, TX – A Two Night Event.”
The trailer, which fans can check out online now, begins with “Can’t make it to the M72 World Tour? (Or can’t wait to relive it?)” before showing footage from the band’s summer European tour.
The video then says “Here’s your chance…/ This August / Join the global Metallica family / In cinemas around the world / and see M72 live from Arlington, Texas / 2 night / 2 completely different sets / Get your tickets for both nights to enjoy the full experience.”
Check out the two-night event live from Arlington, Texas in movie theaters on August 18th and 20th.
Tickets and a list of participating theaters can be found here.
Metallica’s 11th studio album, “72 Seasons”, debuted within the top three on the Billboard 200 chart.
Frontman James Hetfield explained, “Seventy-two seasons, the first 18 years of our lives that form our true or false selves. The concept that we were told ‘who we are’ by our parents. A possible pigeonholing around what kind of personality we are. I think the most interesting part of this is the continued study of those core beliefs and how it affects our perception of the world today. Much of our adult experience is a reenactment or reaction to these childhood experiences. Prisoners of childhood or breaking free of those bondages we carry.”
