Paramore’s Cover of Foo Fighters’ ‘My Hero is Now Streaming

Paramore is treating fans to a rare track.

The band’s cover of the Foo Fighters’ My Hero, which follows singer Hayley Williams joining the band onstage last month at Bonnaroo to perform the song, is now on Spotify.

The acoustic version of the tune was actually recorded in 2006 but has not been previously available to stream.

Williams wrote on Instagram, “Not long after Bonnaroo, Paramore fans used their powers to convince us to get this lil’ 2006 moment up and streaming.”

Following Hayley’s performance with the Foo Fighters, she recorded not one but two covers of “My Hero” – one in an electronic mix style and one in an acoustic style. Listen to the “My Hero (Electronic Mix)” below.

Bay Area fans can see the Foo Fighters perform with new drummer Josh Freese at Outside Lands as they headline the festival on Saturday, August 12th.
