Wolfgang Van Halen releases second solo album: Mammoth II

After receiving positive reviews from his first ever solo album, Mammoth WVH, in 2021, Wolfgang Van Halen has followed it up with Mammoth II, released on August 4.

As he did on the first album, WVH recorded from his late father’s 5150 Studio and plays every instrument on the record, accompanied only by technical crew.

Though a solo album, there are clearly influences from Eddie, sprinkled throughout. WVH employs the tapping technique at some point during every guitar solo on the album.
