Billy Idol is slated to release a concert film this fall.
The flick will showcase Idol’s April concert at Hoover Dam featuring guest stars like the Sex Pistols’ Steve Jones and No Doubt’s Tony Kanal. Idol played the first-ever concert at Hoover Dam – and now he’s planning to release a concert film of the history-making moment.
“Billy Idol: State Line” will premiere in theaters this fall with further details on public screenings to be released soon. A 30-second teaser of Idol performing “Cradle of Love” was released in April.
“First look from our absolutely epic gig at the Hoover Dam!” Idol wrote on Twitter, “Much love and thanks to our special guests for joining us at the Dam. This show will be released as a concert film later this year. More soon!”
The film sees Idol play two unique sets at the Hoover Dam, which straddles the Colorado River on the Nevada-Arizona state line in the United States.
