Stevie Nicks is finally commenting on the Amazon show that many believe is loosely based on her time with Fleetwood Mac.
The singer posted a still image from Amazon’s “Daisy Jones & the Six” to her Instagram on Tuesday and shared her opinion of the series.
She wrote, “Just finished watching Daisy Jones + the 6 for the 2nd time. It brought back memories that made me feel like a ghost watching my own story. It was very emotional for me. I just wish Christine [McVie] could have seen it. She would have loved it.”
Nicks’ Fleetwood Mac bandmate Christine McVie died in November of last year.
Nicks ended her message saying, “Hopefully it will continue…”
Stevie Nicks will be featured in Dolly Parton’s upcoming rock album, Rockstar.
Dolly and Stevie duet on Nicks’ “What Has Rock ‘n’ Roll Ever Done for You,” which Dolly calls a “performance piece” that Stevie “had never put on a record but had always wanted to.”
She explained, “When we got in the studio, it was just fun, because we kinda ad-libbed at the front and on the end. I like those kinda loose songs, because I’ve always been a performer and entertainer, and there’s a lot to be said when you can hear the fun.”
Rockstar will be released on November 17th.
