Police are investigating the ‘unexplained’ death of a man in his 70s the day after he visited a NUMBER of bars in the UK. The man was found dead in his home in the Whaley Bridge area and was last seen walking home after leaving The Cock pub. The force currently isn’t treating the death as suspicious – but they’re appealing for more information about the circumstances of his death – by anyone who saw him hanging around The Cock pub. Locals at The Cock pub said that the man didn’t seem heavily intoxicated at the time. The report doesn’t say, the lead detective posted: ‘We are working hard to trace the man’s movements in the last 24 hours before his death, and we would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed a man with injuries or something that didn’t seem quite right.’ It’s possible and anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to get in touch with the Derbyshire Police.
