Eddie Vedder has agreed to play two solo gigs in his hometown of Seattle – but he won’t make a cent from either.

Proceeds from the Pearl Jam frontman’s gigs, which will occur in October, will benefit the EB Research Partnership, an organization founded by Vedder and his wife dedicated to curing Epidermolysis Bullosa, a life-threatening genetic skin disorder, organizers have announced.

The performances, set for October 23rd and 24th, will be staged at Seattle’s Benaroya Hall. Tickets went on sale Monday morning.

What’s different about Vedder’s solo gigs, as opposed to his performances with Pearl Jam? Share your opinions on 107.7 The Bone’s Facebook or Twitter page.
