Godsmack is getting ready to kick off their fall headlining tour.

In an interview, drummer Shannon Larkin was asked if he likes arena or smaller theater shows better.

“Each one of us has a fave environment, and the different energies from, say, 50,000 people at a festival as opposed to 2,000 in a theater are two different highs, each bringing unique feelings to us individually, but both just as satisfying as a performer,” he explained. “I personally prefer amphitheaters; my fave venue ever is Red Rocks Amphitheater.”

Larkin may not have mentioned a California venue, but the band will come to the Bay Area during thier tour so fans have an opportunity to change his mind. Fans can see Godsmack perform at Aftershock on Friday, October 6th, 2023 at Discovery Park in Sacramento, California.

Godsmack are in good company at Aftershock Festival – Guns N’ Roses, Tool, Avenged Sevenfold, Korn, Pantera, Incubus, Queens Of The Stone Age, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Rancid, Turnstile, 311, and more will all perform at the festival from October 5th to 8th 2023.
