The Rolling Stones’ upcoming album Hackney Diamonds will include some big-name guest stars.
The band name-dropped a few in a new interview with the New York Times – including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, and Lady Gaga.
McCartney plays bass on the song “Bite My Head Off”, while Elton John plays piano on “Live by the Sword”. Stevie Wonder plays keyboards and Lady Gaga sings on the track “Sweet Sounds of Heaven”.
Hackney Diamonds is the Stones’ first new studio album since 2005. It will be out on October 20th.
The band released “Angry,” the first single off their new album last week. They also shared an official music video for the song starring actress Sydney Sweeney, known for her roles in “Euphoria” and “White Lotus.” Francois Rousselet directed the video, which features Sweeney on the back of a red convertible driving through Los Angeles as footage of the band plays on billboards.
“New album, new music, new era,” reads the video’s description.
