Alkaline Trio Announce Tour, New Album ‘Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs’

Alkaline Trio just announced a brand new album, the appetizingly-named “Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs.”

It’s the band’s first album since frontman Matt Skiba took a six-year leave of absence to join Blink-182 and the final album with drummer Derek Grant, who left the band in June.

“Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs” was recorded at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606.

The band also released a music video for the title track and announced a spring tour with Drug Church that kicks off next year. Bay Area fans can see Alkaline Trio perform at The Masonic in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

“Blood, Hair, And Eyeballs” Lyrics:

You showed up and I shot down
We lost touch and you left town
You said
I never ever want to see your motherf**king face again
I went out and I got high
I blacked out and lost my mind
I said
I never ever want to feel that motherf**king way again

I got nightmares up and down my walls
I got some things that I should say
Walk like a zombie up and down these halls
Sleep like the undead, like the undead
At the end of the day

Getting back to living life
Cut me some slack I almost died
And I never ever want to see that motherfucking place again
I found true love and lost my way
I won’t lose hope
Patiently waiting
I hope and pray I get see your motherfucking face again

I got nightmares up and down my walls
I got some things that I should say
Walk like a zombie up and down these halls
Sleep like the undead, like the undead
At the end of the day

Living like lovers
Dying like dreams
Deep undercover
Killing machines
Dance like the devil
Rise from the grave
The day that I lost you
I went insane

I got nightmares up and down my walls
I got some things that I should say
Walk like a zombie up and down these halls
Sleep like the undead, like the undead
At the end of the day
