On Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Costco in San Francisco, California and Concord, California fans can meet Metallica’s Lars Ulrich and BLACKENED Whiskey’s Master Distiller & Blender, Rob Dietrich!
“There will be an opportunity to come get a photo with both Lars Ulrich and Rob Dietrich and to purchase a bottle of BLACKENED (not required for entry).” RNDC announced, “Please note that this is a first-come, first-served event, and time is limited.”

When is the event?
- Saturday, 10/28/23 from 12-2PM PST in San Francisco and from 4-6PM PST in Concord
Where is the event?
- San Francisco Costco 12-2 PM – 450 10th St, San Francisco, 94103
- Concord Costco 4-6 PM – 2400 Monument Blvd, Concord, 94520
Am I guaranteed entry once I get in line?
- No. We will be handing out wristbands to the first 100 people to guarantee entry into the event. You must be present in order to receive a wristband. This is a first-come, first-served event, and time is limited. Come early!
What time can I start lining up to get a wristband?
- Attendees can begin lining up at 9AM PST and we will accommodate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Is this event 21+?
- Yes. This event is 21+ and will follow the retailer’s store age policy.
Is an RSVP required to attend the event?
- No, RSVP is not required.
Are there tickets for purchase to attend this event?
- No, there are no tickets for sale for this event. If you see tickets for purchase, they are invalid and counterfeit.
Do I have to purchase a bottle of BLACKENED Whiskey to attend the event?
- No, but there will be bottles for purchase. Guests can buy as many bottles as they would like but only 1 item per person will be autographed.
Is a Costco Membership required to attend?
- No purchase is necessary but if you do want to buy a bottle of BLACKENED, a Costco membership is still not required.
