Lamont & Tonelli interviewed San Francisco 49ers Long Snapper Taybor Pepper about Brock Purdy, concussions, recovering from losing games, mullets, and more.
Addressing the two 49ers losses in arrow, Taybor said, “We’ve had our our backs really against the wall in the ’21 season and the ’22 season start now, so there’s no reason to abandon ship. There’s no reason to run around with our hair on fire. Looking at the film, everybody knows where they could have helped the team and you know, it’s all controllable. It’s all something we can control, so we are not freaking out.”
Despite recent misses, Pepper said he “trusts the hell out of” Jake Moody.
Diving deeper into his trust of Moody, Pepper said, “Given his body of work that I saw this summer. I trust the hell out of the kid. He’s a really, really good field goal kicker…I’ve seen the best of the best…it’s up to Mitch and I to put him in the best position possible to make those kicks.”
Plus, hear the moment Pepper wants to recreate that involves his dad, Wembley Stadium, and the Eagles. Tune in to hear Taybor Pepper’s weekly reports with Lamont & Tonelli every Thursday at 6:50 am during the 2023 regular season.
